When I first started Aussie Recruit, I received hundreds of Australian style CVs (including from Australians already living and working in the US) and noticed common trends emerging. In the US we use resumes, not CVs. In fact, if you say CV, most likely a recruiter or hiring manger will not know what you’re talking about. So I decided to host my first virtual event in early 2019, on revamping your resume to appeal to the US market.
