E-3 Visa Requirements
You’re eligible for the E-3 Visa if you meet the below general requirements:
Must be an Australian Citizen
Must have a degree*
Must have a job offer in the United States that requires a degree
*Australians may earn the equivalent of a 4 year U.S. Bachelor’s Degree by virtue of formal education and/or progressive professional experience.

Visa fee is $315 USD
Processing time is about 4-6 weeks
Available in 2 year increments
Theoretically renewable indefinitely
Employee must earn the greater of the actual or prevailing wage
Position must require a U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent
E-3 Visa Spouse & Children
The Spouse and children of an E-3 Visa holder can apply for the E-3 Dependent Visa (E3-D)
The Spouse of an E-3 Visa holder will automatically receive working rights upon entry into the US

Employer files Labor Condition Application with U.S. Department of Labor
Candidate submits DS-160, pays $315, and attends appointment at a U.S. Consulate outside of the US
Candidate receives E3 visa and starts new job
